determine an average price for your picture. Every photo
is different and requires different attention so the

(4) No we do not accept original photos through mail. As e-mailing your photo ensures safety of your originals.

scan your photos onto your computer's hard drive by
using a scanner. or transfer them from your digital

Can not scan
your photos?
No problem!
**-A-**Almost all photo developing shops (like
FedEx Kinko's), Walgreen's and internet cafes, will be able
to scan your photo for you, and give it to you
on a disk, or perhaps even email it to us on
your behalf. Just make sure you ask them to scan
it as a high ‘resolution’ JPG (minimum 300dpi).
**-B-** We
recommend an online service to scan them for
you.
It will cost you
only $1 per photo.

picture will be mailed back to you.

to us by simply using your current Email program, Log
into your E-mail account and Compose a new E-mail,
addressed to
retouchxp@yahoo.com Click the Attach button; browse
your computer to locate the photo(s) you would like to
send. (25 MB max)
If you have very large image files or your have problems sending your image via e-mail, we recommend a free service called
www.sendthisfile.com
that specialists in sending large files over the internet. The service is free - all you have to do is sign up and send your file.

(8) The
acceptable file types are JPEG, TIFF, TGA, BMP, PNG, RAW, NEF and PSD.
The total file size should not exceed 25 MB. and resolution should be about 300dpi. |

Every photo
restoration project is different and everyone
receives personal attention. We will evaluate your needs
on an individual basis and work toward your goal, not
ours.
Minor Photo Restoration is defined as follows

The photo is
in very good condition &needs only a couple of minor
adjustments, enhancements or repairs
-
Some
scratches, cracks, dust or rust spots.
-
Minor color,
saturation & contrast adjustments.
Moderate Photo Restoration is defined as follows
-
The photo has
moderate damage, such as the damage to faces, hands,
hair, dress or background.
-
Parts of the
photo are missing.
-
The photo is
crumpled due to water damage
-
The scratches,
cracks, mould or rust spots.
-
A part is
missing after having stuck to glass in the frame
(probably due to storage in a damp basement).
Extreme photo Restoration
is defined as
follows
-
The photo has
serious damage, such as Missing moderate parts of
faces or other major details of the photograph which
need to be replaced with bits of other old photos
(which we have) for this specific purpose.
-
Severe damage
of any kind, with missing, faded yellowed or stained
portions.
-
Serious stains
& fading.
-
Numerous
scratches & cracks.
Because photo
restoration is very particularized it can be hard to
give an exact quote before seeing the scanned photograph
and extent of its damage. But we promise to settle on a
price before any work begins with no hidden or added
charges. |

Very often your photo
requires several types of improvements. For example
digital slimming, red eyes removal and whitening the
teeth. After uploading the image you will be able to
select as many services as you need. |

receive payment, we will begin working with your photos. We
guarantee your photos will be completed under a maximum of 2
business days. We can maximize the quality of work and provide
the satisfaction our customers deserve even with a high volume
of orders. However, we typically will have everything completed
and on its way back to you in 2-3 business days or less, again
this can vary depending on which services are needed as well as
the volume requested. |

A pre-payment is
required to begin with your project. Due to the time and
effort it takes to work on Digital Photos, we will not
start on your photo(s) until payment has been received.
If you are not fully happy with the finished picture, we
will continue to work on it until you are absolutely

satisfaction.
